An An is a sophomore pursuing a major in 15-3. Her previous work experiences have been centered around social impact, marketing, and research with Lemelson-MIT. CAPD has provided students like her with a wealth of resources, and she is excited to be a part of this community. For those present on campus, a must-visit location is E-40, which happens to be one of her favorite spots for overnight studying, complete with the convenience of ramen and coffee.
Angelina Xu
Angelina is originally from Central Jersey and an undergraduate junior studying 6-2 (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science). She has UROP’ed since freshman year, traveled to Israel for MISTI, and her internship experiences span finance and startups. But her first job was a Dunkin barista!
Desi Soetanto
CAPD Program Assistant
Desi is a 2nd year MBA student at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Desi grew up in New Zealand and Australia where she attended The University of Melbourne and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce. Prior to joining MIT, Desi served clients across Australia, USA, and Southeast Asia to help enhance organizational performance through her role as a Management Consultant, most recently at McKinsey & Company.
Outside of the classroom, Desi loves sightseeing and exploring exotic cuisines. She is excited to create meaningful events to help students navigate their career interests by engaging them with a diverse group of MIT alumni.

Favour Oladimeji
Favour is a sophomore majoring in Course 20. She was first introduced to CAPD through their help with forming resumes and mock interviews, which led to her participating in a Leadership Develop Summit and interning as a Software Engineer her freshman summer. Favour is actively involved with the Undergraduate Association, where she advocates on behalf of students to improve student life, as well as InterVarsity and Gymnastics. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cooking, baking, knitting, and reading. She hopes to impact first-years by sharing lessons she’s learned from both her academic and professional experience.
Josiah Washington
Josiah Washington is a third-year student in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Their acadmic interests include transportation systems, alternative energy, and urban development. Outside of academics, Josiah can usually be found baking sweet treats, exploring Boston and Cambridge, riding roller coasters, and dancing with the student-led group, Sakata Afrique.
Michelle Zhang
Peer Career Advisor
Michelle is a first-year PhD student in Course 1 (Civil and Environmental Engineering) with research interests in earth remote sensing and hydroclimatology. She is also involved with the Student Events Board and the Graduate Student Union Activities Committee at MIT. From her undergrad at UC Davis, Michelle has internship experience within both private and public sectors. Originally from California, she is not prepared for the Boston winters and enjoys running, playing tennis, and snowboarding in her free time.
Olivia Wu, MBA '24
Olivia is a second-year MBA student at MIT Sloan School of Management, with a focus on product management, analytics, and entrepreneurship. She began her career in the public sector before pivoting into technology through entrepreneurship, eventually joining TikTok prior to business school. During her free time, Olivia enjoys hiking, watching true crime shows, trying out exotic cuisines, and sharing memorable experiences with friends through travel and local adventures.
